  • Keep track of the Regulatory changes in Direct, Indirect Taxes , FEMA/RBI, RERA matters and send periodical updates to Finance, Purchase, sales and other related departments.
  • Periodically monitor the assessments under Direct and Indirect Taxes and send periodical updates to Director Finance/Board on key matters.
  • Monitor the notices received from regulatory authorities and update Director Finance and Board of Directors on periodical basis.
  • Review the loan documentations and ensure that debt servicing is being done at agreed terms. Review the interest paid and report deviations if any.
  • Examine the adequacy of Internal Control over financial reporting and provide comfort to the Board of Directors that the controls are adequate and effective.
  • Monitor the implementation of the new ERP and review the customizations from control and reporting point of view.
  • Review the quarterly and annual financial statements before same is presented to the Board/Auditors including compliance with applicable Accounting Standards.
  • Performing risk assessments on all key business activities and using this information to guide what should be covered in audits
  • Provide quarterly reports to the Director Finance and Board of Directors on key audit findings during the quarter.

Qualification and Experience

  • Preferably a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India or Institute of Cost Accountants of India.
